Personal Assistant to the Managing Director
Duty Station: Walvis Bay, Namibia
Reporting to: Managing Director
Employment Type: Permanent
Working Schedule: Currently 5 hours per day (08h00 – 13h00), Monday to Friday. Hours
maybe extended at a later stage depending on operational requirements.
The primary purpose of the position is to manage the office of the Managing Director whilst providing executive administrative support to the Managing Director.
KEY PERFORMANCE AREAS
Office Management - Organise and maintain the Managing Director’s diary
Administration - Develop and maintain office administration system as well as providing administrative support for all the Managing Director’s meetings.
Correspondence - Coordinate all internal and external correspondence from the Managing Director’s desk
Projects Coordination - Coordinate all projects from the Managing Director’s desk
Events Management - Manage all special events
Education - Tertiary qualification in Office Administration or related field
Work experience - At least 4 – 7 years experience in similar position
Language - English and any other Namibian language. Oshiwambo will be an advantage
Communication - Listening, reading comprehension, speaking and writing
Computer Skills - Skilled creating in spreadsheets, databases, presentations and word processing
Shorthand - Skilled in minute taking and dictation
